From the Bäke over the lowland to the Fehnkanal: For the lover typical Ammerland pasture landscape and further Fehnlandschaft! It goes through the lovely Westerstederfeld and Aperfeld to the Aper Tief and through Südgeorgsfehn and Lengener Moor back to Westerstede. You will constantly move along the edge of the large Lengener Moor and touch the southern edge of East Frisia with the Uplengen country as well as a section of the German Fehnroute.

The route leads on long mostly asphalted stretches through wide pastureland and thus attracts the cyclist who likes to pass through as well as the leisurely cyclist. In the south, one crosses the Linsweger forest on some brick paths, in the north the Neuenburger Urwald - the botanical peculiarity of a forest largely left to itself since the 17th century.

Agriculture, forestry and nursery farming shape the cultural landscape in Ammerland and give it its very special character. At 16 stations, information panels provide information on a wide variety of topics. The route, which is 43 kilometers long, runs through the communities of Bad Zwischenahn, Westerstede and Wiefelstede, but can also be covered in shorter sections.
